Sanibel Island Portraits

Portraits on Sanibel Island! Well, after some years as a photogapher in Boston, I am still amazed of the opportunity to photograph a family during the winter months in Fort Myers and the surrounding islands! Some of the Sanibel beaches face west, so sunset photographs work well. Sanibel Island also has driftwood and tall sea oats which make for attractive family portraits. When I photograph a family portrait, I provide 4x6 prints of each pose we capture. The prints can be made into a memory book or given to grandparents and family members. The photograph enlargements can be made in a variety of paper sizes and finishes.

The two images below are from portraits I photographed in April on Sanibel Island. I created the 'painterly' effect after some hours of working to change the image pixels using a stylus. Certainly the final print using this portrait style, might look great mounted on a canvas stretched frame.
