Patricia Slater is authorized by the State of Florida to officiate at wedding ceremonies. She has presided at over 7,000 wedding ceremonies on the beaches of Southwest Florida. Patricia can facilitate a marriage license by mail for out of state and out of country couples to avoid your trip to city hall.

A marriage license can be acquired Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. legal holidays at the Lee County Administration Building. The license is $93.50. Licenses are issued immediately upon application and valid for 60 days from date of issue.

There is no waiting period for couples from out of state or out of the country. There is a three day waiting period or four hour counseling required for Florida residents.
